Love Story
Starting Point
It was destined for us to meet at the end of our white-and-grey school life. An introduction that was never planned—sparked by a friend’s playful moment that began a simple conversation on the last Wednesday of September 2019. Slowly, every conversation became a path that led us to know each other more deeply. What began as a passing moment turned into a bond that quietly grew in our hearts. Then destiny unfolded a distance between us, stretching nearly two thousand kilometres apart. Yet perhaps this, too, was part of Allah’s beautiful plan—preparing the right time for our hearts to finally be tied together.
Engagement
Through the long distance that separated our bodies but never our hearts, we chose to remain steadfast in guarding the love entrusted to us. Between Indonesia and the Philippines, we learned patience, trust, and devotion. By the will of Allah, in February 2025, we took a step forward and bound our intentions together. It was a moment filled with joy and gratitude, made even more meaningful by the presence of our beloved father—who, only a month later, was lovingly called back to Allah’s eternal home. Soon after that cherished moment, our paths once again led us to separate places. Yet this time, we did not feel alone. A ring bearing our names now accompanies every step we take, reminding us of the promise we carry together.
Marriage
With Allah’s permission, the month of June will no longer be only the time we celebrate the days we were born. It will also become the month in which we celebrate the completion of our faith through this marriage. After nearly six years of waiting, growing, and patiently trusting in Allah’s timing—through distance, prayers, and countless moments of hope—our journey finally leads us to this sacred day, June 13 2026. A day when two paths that once walked separately are united as one. A day when our long journey of patience turns into a lifelong act of worship, as we walk hand in hand, striving together to build a home filled with love, patience, faith, and devotion.
